Value
Initially ok but given reliability problems it's poor value.
Costs
Fuel consumption is fine but again reliability has pushed costs up.

Driving
Pleasant enough but not much headroom, power steering lacks feedback and the car rolls too much when cornering.
Performance
Nippy for the engine size and has a pleasing exhaust note.

Reliability
Appalling problems with head gasket which is a common fault, didn't find out until it happened to me, wish I'd checked here first. Difficult engine to work on.
