Economy
Value
Parents acquired it 4 years ago for £4000. Currently insured for £3000.
Costs
Fairly good fuel economy (typically it drinks it up at high revs). Currently just under £30 to fill tank up from empty. Can't comment on parts.

On the road
Driving
Great fun with the sporty engine. Something people don't expect from a little car. (Especially the sportscar drivers next to you at the traffic lights!)
Performance
Accelerates brilliantly and is very nippy. Handles well round corners.

Living with it
Reliability
Never had real problems. Garage spotted that head needed skimming before any performance problems occurred. Did set me back £200.
Image
Very smart (except for the mud splatters) and looks great with alloys and leather seats. Feel far too posh driving this car as a poor student!
Comfort
Noisy at high speeds. Fine for me as a smaller person driving, yet not suitable for the larger 6' 1" boyfriend. Very difficult to fit 3 adults in the back unless the best of friends and little legroom at the best of times!

Security and Service
Security
Never had a problem yet! Like the idea of engine immobiliser cutting in if key not turned within 30 seconds after car unlocked.
Service
Can't comment. Always used local family garage.
