Economy
Value
Bought second hand from local Rover dealer for £3995. Loads of kit - front fogs, CD auto changer, alloys.
Costs
45mpg and I have a right foot of iron.

On the road
Driving
Holds the road and won't let go. Feels safe - it's not the kind of car that will bite you if you go into a bend too fast.
Performance
1.6 K-series will rev up to the rev limiter of 7700 and can do stupid 3 figure speeds.

Living with it
Reliability
So far, so good. The K-series are a reliable engines, just that they can be known for head gasket problems.
Image
Looks smart and sporty. Silver is the colour to show the car's sporty stance.
Comfort
Done 600 mile round-trip in a day and could walk after.

Security and Service

Alarm is loud, but locks don't look that strong.
