-
Economy
Value
Purchase price quite good for a 2nd-hand 'warm hatch'.
Costs
Low fuel and insurance costs, but frequent repairs.
-
On the road
Driving
Good on straight roads, especially motorways; rolls too much when cornering; steering and brakes are no more than ok.
Performance
Sub 9 sec 0-60 and high 30s average mpg - potentially cheap fun.

Living with it
Reliability
Apart from expensive problems listed below, reliability has been excellent!
Image
I like its understated sporty looks, but have turned down several offers of tartan travel blankets.
Comfort
Seats very comfortable and supportive, especially on long motorway journeys; engine noise rather intrusive at motorway speed, but acceptable for a small car.

Security and Service
Security
Badged anonymously as '200', so alarm/immobiliser unlikely to be tested by frustrated 200Vi hunters.
Service
Dealer quite helpful. No need to deal with manufacturer direct, so cannot comment on this service.
