Economy
Value
A lot of car for the money.
Costs
Economical engine, when going slow. Keeps value well.
-
On the road
Driving
Too much body roll. Overtly light steering. Wooly brake pedal feel. Stiff accelerator.
Performance
So-so. Nothing spectacular for a diesel.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Niggling faults - windows rattling, dash falling out.
Image
It's a Rover turbo-diesel. Not really gonna set the pulse racing is it?
Comfort
Smooth. Soft suspension helps, but cramped - the rear is terrible for more than 2.
-
Security and Service
Security
Alarm and immobliliser standard. Strong locks.
Service
Good service.
