Summary
What does this car say about you?
I'm not a badge snob, and as it's got alloys and other visual upgrades, that I'm a bit of a boyracer lol. Also clean all the time so hopefully says I look after my car lol.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They all take the piss because I'm driving a Rover but normally once they come out for a drive they stop all that. Surprises everyone.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No, but that's because I want to move on to bigger, faster, newer pastures. I never plan on selling my one anyway as it won't be worth much soon so there's no point! I love it too much!
What are you likely to buy next?
Ideally I would like something with a VAG 1.9 PD diesel engine. Possibly an Ibiza or Leon etc. I'm a diesel man through and through

Didn't buy from a dealer
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£1,100
When did you buy the car?
April 2007
Did you get a good deal and why?
At the time I thought it was reasonable but if I had waited another couple of months I could've got one the same condition for a couple of hundred quid less I reckon.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Like the look of it, the performance, the equipment and the fuel consumption figures!
What was the dealer like?
Private

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Great, with standard steel wheels it doesn't handle great but after I put wide alloys on it grips much better. It's fast enough standard (have embarrassed many cars that don't expect a rover diesel to be any good!). Very tuneable though so can be a lot faster if you so wish...
What's it like to park?
Easy, steering is light, it's small, and you can see everything.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Fuel pump went not long ago, however that was my fault. Other than that she's been sound as a pound.
What's most practical about your car?
The fuel consumption, by far. Going from my 1.4 8v corsa to this was a dream, so much more power, and so much less fuel!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
the sunroof gets used a lot, but my favourite gadget is my stereo (not standard).
