No, they are too unreliable- minor mechanical problems don't tend to happen but the engine is very prone to failures.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Handling is smooth and easy, but the vehicle lacks midrange power; you have to push it hard to get any decent performance out of it between 40-60mph
What's it like to park?
Easy enough thanks to a tight turning circle and the relatively small size of the vehicle.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Head gasket prone to failure around 65,000 miles; has happened on all 3 Rover 200/ 25 models I have driven. Also problems with alarm system on all 3 vehicles.
What's most practical about your car?
Fuel economy is reasonable, comfortable ride
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Stock sound system is decent quality thanks to well-placed speakers
