Summary
What does this car say about you?
I'm a 21 year old driving a Rover!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Family love it, but with friends it's a bit mixed. Some of my friends say I've made an excellent choice, wheres other friends who all drive saxos and corsas say I have bought a piece of S**T, probably because they're jealous! But ah well, i never really listen most of the time.
Would you buy this car again and why?
If I ever do, which will be many years to come, I would probably go for an MG ZR 160 instead of the 25. But yes I would buy another one.
What are you likely to buy next?
Well in a few years time I should be able to afford a large engine diesel! (Hopefully!) Most likely be a BMW 530d or some sort of german 6 cylinder diesel.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£900
When did you buy the car?
August 2013
Did you get a good deal and why?
I never really know as there are much cheaper Rover 25's out there, probably can get an okay-ish one for about £400-£500, £900 for mine seems steep but it is a tidy car, and as a dealer I suppose they do sell for a profit, I did get 6 months free tax, which is good.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
It was the only car I looked at which didn't have and dents or scrapes, nor mega high millage.
What was the dealer like?
Nice guy. Like I said, he did give me 6 months free tax.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Compared to my old corsa which couldn't handle at all, the Rover is the complete opposite, it feels stiffer at the bends, and there is better road holding as well. Theres no complaint I can think of for the handling. The engine is good too, it needs to be revved to get all 100bhp out of it, but I mainly cruise along at 50-60mph, so it never really needs to be revved up when I'm driving.
What's it like to park?
With the luxuries of Power Steering, it is now effortless to park! Saying that it felt really weird at first as I wasn't used to the lightness after 3 years of driving without PAS.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Yes, the heaters don't work on speed one, I've read about it and seems a common fault. But speed two, three and four work well.
What's most practical about your car?
The boot is excellent and just right for my needs, the space in the front is a big improvement to my previous car too.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Compared to my old Corsa (Which had nothing), it is like a Rolls Royce, i got Power Steering, Electric Windows, Four stereo speakers and even height adjustable steering wheel! But the gadget I love most is the Electric Sunroof! Oh, and probably the original radio casette player, its so easy to use!
