Fantastic end of model (pre-facelift) discount and employees discount landed me half leather and aircon for base model money.
Costs
Relatively cheap to run and insure.

On the road
Driving
Quicker than technical data suggests, handling very good, solid and firm ride. Positive and direct to drive.
Performance
84 PS feels quick, does not struggle to keep up. Lively and ready when needed.

Living with it
Reliability
No problems.
Image
Attractive car, brand new car at 17 can't look bad.
Comfort
Features comfort pack, i.e. rear headrests and rear centre arm rest. I am 6 foot tall and do not find it at all uncomfortable.

RCL useful, with super locking feature too.

Good, where other manufacturers scoffed at a 17 year old in a showroom (like Volkswagen) Rover made a sale.
