-
Economy
Value
There are better value for many cars around and Rovers devalue overnight, sadly.
Costs
Relatively cheap to buy £6000 with only 5000 miles on clock.
-
On the road
Driving
Much better than the older 200, very positive feel.
Performance
Takes a lot of revs to get it going, but once it is, it has plenty of poke.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Generally good, Boot has failed to shut on many occasions, seems to work loose and needs adjusting, not handy when left with shopping on a cold winters night and a screaming baby! Also failed to start once, apart from that OK
Image
Classy Chrome, Cool curves and it's British
Comfort
IL model has lumber support adjuster that helps comfort, clutch pedal a bit far left with no foot rest, which would be nice.
-
Security and Service
Security
Motion sensor alarm and immobiliser, so not bad at all.
Service
Main dealers tend to be very helpful, Caffyns in Lewes especially good. Sadly of course now Rover is out of business so are most of the dealers
