Rover 25 1.6 iS 5d (2000/W) Owner Review

Economy
Value
Not good. It's got electric windows, but that's about it.
Costs
Fuel economy is about 45mpg. Insurance is about average. Rover dealer is a rip off on labour charges - definitely go somewhere else for that.

On the road
Performance
0-60 not bad but 5th is pants - you really need to trash the car to get anything out of it.
-
Living with it
Reliability
A few glitches now and then but nothing too major.
Image
It's cute to the ladies and an old man's car to the lads.
Comfort
Seats are comfortable and go back a long way for the person with long legs providing you don't want anyone in the back, but hey it's a small hatchback.

Security and Service
Security
Alarm/immobiliser still works fine.
Service
Are helpful, but that's probably because they know they are going to bleed you dry.

It didn't come with dust caps for the tyres.
