Value
I bought the car at 18 months old - it was 60% of the new price. Now at 42 months old it is worth 30% of new price.
Costs
Cheap servicing costs (12,000 mile interval). Parts are reasonable, but often require Rover's own e.g. exhuast.

On the road
Driving
This car really hugs the road and corners extremely well. Suspension is very hard, not so nice for passengers!
Performance
Extremely quick! 145bhp and feels much quicker.

Living with it
Reliability
Very reliable and mostly easy to fix.
Image
My car is silver and has everything I want - colour coded bumpers and mirrors, spoiler, front fogs, 16 inch alloys, tinted glass, part leather seats, leather gearstick and steering wheel, electrics all round, AC, 6 speakers! Half the price of a Golf GTi.
Comfort
Nice driving position - steering wheel is height adjustable and seats have lumbar support. Rear seats have head rests and I like the delay on the interior lights!

Security and Service
Security
I live in the country, so no real problems. Only thing is that my alarm goes off if I lock the car with a window open a little.
