Value
Great value now the MG derivatives are out.
Costs
Good MPG considering the power. High insurance though at group 14.

Driving
Real driver's car... great fun! Handles well and good feedback, although the steering is a little heavy and brakes could be a bit sharper for my liking.
Performance
0-60 in 7.8 secs with 148bhp says it all really. Very smooth power delivery from the VVC engine.

Living with it
Reliability
9000 miles mostly trouble free motoring. Idle sticking problem when new, resolved by dealer under warranty.
Image
Rover badge isn't too hot on the image front, but the 25 has got great looks.
Comfort
Considering it's a sportscar, there is a good balance on damping and doesn't cause too much trouble on long distance driving.

Security and Service
Security
Factory fitted alarm/immobiliser for GTi, but would go for further security such as steering lock.
Service
Dealers are very good and treat you well. Rover HQ needs to revise some of its processes though, for helping the dealers on technical problems.
