Economy
Value
Bought with 4125 miles on the clock, 15 months old for £8450. Great value, with a good value on trade-in too.
Costs
I get 25mpg if I am lucky, unless on a run, when if I get 30mpg I am happy.

On the road
Driving
Mine is in pensioner gold and don't the Jack the Lads get a shock if they try to cut me up! It flies.
Performance
Very fast and, what is better, unsuspected!

Living with it
Reliability
So far, 17,600 miles on the clock and not a thing gone wrong, except for new door seal on driver's side.
Image
Ok. Not the greatest, although with the big alloys as standard, it looks a cut above the normal 25s and tons better than the 200s. Not as high an image as the MG25, but just as good a car.
Comfort
A bit hard suspension and ride, but it is a GTi.

Security and Service
Security
I have had no trouble, but the reports are not too good.
Service
Local garages are good and as it is still less than 3 years old, it is being serviced by main dealers.
