Rover 25 Hatchback (1999-2005) interior, tech and comfort

(change model)
Dash layout is simple but looking dated now. Switchgear goes back to the late Eighties. However, there’s plenty of room, apart from the cramped pedal area. Steering wheel adjusts for height.
The 25’s stodgy packaging isn’t ideal. Taller drivers will complain of a tight, uncomfortable, driving position while front seat origami is required to give rear passengers adequate legroom. Owners reviewing their cars at parkers.co.uk report that longer journeys can bring backache and cramp due to poor support from the sports-style seats.
