Economy
Value
Bargains can be had if you look in the right places, I bought mine for £250.
Costs
OK, if you don't buy from the main dealers, buy filter plugs, brake parts and sundries from competative motor factors.

On the road
Driving
Not at all bad for a car of this age, does understeer heavily if pushed really hard, but on the whole can be hurried along with confidence.
Performance
The 16 valve engine is very good particularly at the higher revs.

Living with it
Reliability
Engine seems bullet proof.
Image
Who worries about image when your motoring can be as cheap as this? Tourer is actually pretty cool looking and great for the dog!
Comfort
Again not bad all round, quite a lot of chrome and wood, seat and driving positions are comfy even for me at 6'4".

Security and Service
