Economy
Value
Bought it off the company I used to work for at half the going rate at the time!
Costs
Fuel consumption poor around town, good on long journeys. Expensive parts, go for Unipart which are the same thing anyway.

On the road
Driving
Very good ride, handles well but understeers quite a bit when pressing on.
Performance
Below 4000rpm, gutless, above that it performs very well against 1.6 / 1.8s.

Living with it
Reliability
Let me down once...so far! Seems to be reliable though.
Image
Don't know about other people's perceptions, but it suits me for now.
Comfort
Good ride, good seats, no complaints about rear accomodation.

Security and Service
Security
Std. alarm/immobiliser not supposed to be the best, have supplemented with Cat. 3 steering wheel lock.
Service
Rover dealers are expensive for parts and servicing - I use a good independant specialist.
