What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

not complaints - most think it's a rather nice posh car. If you don't tell them that it's rubbish, they normally don't notice....

Would you buy this car again and why?

If you need a cheap reliable car, then I'd say it's a very good buy. The typical rover owner tends to mean that you can easily find a car that has been well serviced and looked after. Mine had a FSH, and came with every single receipt - immaculate condition. It's never had any major problems (other than the key fob). Having said that, I wouldn't buy one again because i just can't help noticing that it's rubbish.

What's it like to drive?

It's not very fast. It doesn't handle corners very well. far too much body roll. The steering is a little twitchy, and it's not that much fun on the motorway. The spoiler helps. If you're patient, it'll eventually get to 90mph.... If you just want a car to get you somewhere it's fine.

What's it like to park?

fine.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Water pump at 80'000 miles. The key fob died one day whilst stuck in the middle of nowhere. Don't forget to have the security code to hand somewhere, otherwise you can't disable the immobilizer!

What's most practical about your car?

Boots fairly large, and just about enough room for a few adults at the same time. No problems heading off for the weekend.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

leather and A/C is fairly nice.
