Cheaper now the 45 has been introduced. Lots of kit, particually later cars.

    Costs

    3 out of 5 3.0

Running costs are reasonable, but insurance is very steep for class (group 11).

  • On the road

Excellent for engine size. Very responsive.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    2 out of 5 2.0

Failed to start on three occasions in one year, even after a Rover service. Immobiliser, battery, bearing and key fob problems to name a few.

One of the best looking saloons. Class above simlar aged Fords & Vauxhalls.

Excellent on long or short trips. Seats very supportive.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    4 out of 5 4.0

When it works, excellent, but who would nick one?

    Service

    2 out of 5 2.0

Still had problems with the car after an expensive main dealer service. Not at all efficient - try specialist or independants.
