Rover 400 Saloon 420 GSi 4d (1998/R) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Very good second-hand buy if in good condition.
Costs
Very economical, even around town.
-
On the road
Driving
Very responsive steering and holds the road extremely well.
Performance
Great considering it isn't a racing car. It is even quite nippy with the whole family in it.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Starts every time.
Image
I think this is a lovely looking car, but I do think it appeals more to family people rather than boy racers!
Comfort
The leather seats are extremely comfortable - much more comfortable than my mate's Mercedes. The rear is also quite roomy, but it's better because it's a saloon.

Security and Service
Security
Good alarm and strong doorlocks.
Service
Never been to Rover service station (bit too pricey), but normal garages are fine. Always get your car serviced - it will last longer!
