Summary
What does this car say about you?
It says I like to own a proper mechanical car, with little to none of today's electronic steering carry on and what not.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Thought I was daft, but 3 times now (And counting) it has came to the rescue of more modern cars.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. Just because it's great. And a Rover.
What are you likely to buy next?
Another Rover. I'd like an SD1, Metro/100 or 75.

Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£800
When did you buy the car?
September 2013
Did you get a good deal and why?
Got a superb deal. Car unfortunately had a bump on door, but interior was immaculate and mechanically sound. Stoatin value for money.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
It's a Rover, no complex mechanics. Simple, reliable, and must better than today's plastic boxes. Good Value for Money and Quality.

Very helpful, top class.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
To get the bad point out the way, having normally driven new Fiestas, the steering on this to begin with felt a bit like driving a cruise ship. On the plus side you soon get used to this. The K-Series engine never misses a beat, always starts first go, and had a surprisngly good performance for a 1.4, better than modern 1.4s, most of which are Eco-lumps.
What's it like to park?
Parking sensors are surprisingly helpful on it, to give the idea of how far the boot sticks out, very easy to park.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing major has went wrong, put new tyres on it, topped up coolant and oil. Runs smooth and coped well with the 5000 miles done since purchased. On the downside it eats cheapo bulbs like coco-pops. High-quality ones are good.
What's most practical about your car?
The K-Series reaches optimal temperature very quickly, so the car is running well and heats up swiftly.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Both accessories, but they are the wind deflectors, and the DAB digital radio. Parking sensor.
