Overview
The roots of this car date back to the mid-1990s, but Rover has eked out its meagre development budget and given the 45 a final facelift. The latest work concentrates on making it look fresher, with new headlmaps and an updated interior, but it’s still no match for more modern rivals. It lacks sophistication compared to other cars, but it is pretty, well equipped, good to drive and can usually be bought at a temptingly low price.
