The entry level 1.8 has proved to be a very accomplished performer. It may have a low power output, but it’s eager to rev and hits 60 mph in just over 10 seconds, which is not far off the figures for the 2.0 and 2.3 litre models. The 620ti turbo though is very quick, getting to 60 mph in 7 seconds. The diesel engine is very flexible and good value, but noisy.
Dashboard might impress some buyers – especially on the last-of-line cars, but some of the Honda switches look out of place. Handling adjustments were made mid-way through the 600’s life, but it didn’t make it that much better. It’s safe, secure, and reasonably grippy, but nothing to get excited about. Steering is too light and the ride tends to be unsettled.
