Fuel economy
A more stringent standard for fuel economy (WLTP) was introduced from September 2017, and this model was not required to undergo that test.
Its fuel economy measured under the previous test system was 27 - 49 mpg. However these figures are less likely to be achievable in real world driving and so should never be compared to another car's mpg which was measured under the newer, more realistic WLTP system.

It’s not a particularly cheap executive car to run. Servicing costs are not too bad at independents, but Rover dealers can be expensive. Depreciation is not the concern it once was; values are at rock bottom and there’s very little second hand demand. Insurance starts at group 10 and the majority of petrol motors just manage 30 mpg, although the diesels get close to 50 mpg.
Proven Honda technology and improved build quality ensured above-average reliability on newer cars; best with service history. Some gearbox glitches.
