Economy
Value
I got a good deal. Otherwise I suppose it's better than a similar aged Mondeo etc for about the same price.
Costs
Good enough fuel economy on motorways but thirsty around town.

On the road
Driving
Lots of understeer. Great Motorway car. Low seating position. Nice gearbox.
Performance
Very quick for a big saloon. Speed in all gears. Engine just pulls along all the time.

Living with it
Reliability
Mechanically sound. Always starts when I need it to. Seems heavy on brakes. Could be me.
Image
Old Mans Car. Refined image. Not a Mondeo or Vectra.
Comfort
Very comfortable.

Security and Service
Security
Alarm kept going off when temperature rose or fell past about 10 degrees Celsius. V annoying in winter so I disconnected the alarm horn.

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
Noisy in old age. No problems though.
Other
I have slated this car. I love this car. Am I stupid? Remote locking, despite battery changes had to be right up to the window to work. Sometimes didn't work at all. Twice window actuators jammed in the drivers door and bent. Several dash lights broke.
