-
Economy
Value
A lot of car for not too much cash even cheaper now.
Costs
Aome parts I have bought I found really cheap, others are near enough extortion.
-
On the road
Driving
After driving it for a while, learnt how to use the power to best effect otherwise can be quite unruly.
Performance
For the money I don't think you can better it for speed (trust me I'm looking to replace it now and all similar cars seem to be towing caravans).

Living with it
Reliability
May be the way I drive (hard) but I've done one gearbox, CV joint, radiator, throttle position sensor and am keeping Pirelli in business.
Image
Grandad/family car (16"s give it a sportier look though).
Comfort
If you buy a 200bhp car for comfort then it may be time to move up to the 800 series (saying that the comfort is better than a new Astra).

Security and Service
Security
Who would want to nick grandad's car?
Service
Rover mechanics (unless trained well) always think it's a diesel.
-

Engine
2nd best engine I've had (power is spot on - don't tweak though without better head gasket).
Other
Heater has lost most of its effectiveness (even after a new thermostat), still works slightly.
Ownership
Did you buy the car new?
