Economy
Value
Exellent performance for the money, but just try and trade it in... then the problems arise.
Costs
Expensive petrol, tyres, servicing etc...

On the road
Driving
Goes like stink in straight line. Needs respect around quick corners - if you can't do it, don't. Too much road noise from tyres. Comfortable.
Performance
Exceellent for a sports saloon. Can't compare with a small coupe or 2 seater, though. Brakes not exactly inspiring. Too much body roll to really abuse it.

Living with it
Reliability
Ok. It starts, it drives, it stops.
Image
Others don't know what's hit 'em when you open her up. Let the traffic light GPs commence.
Comfort
Good driving position. Too much road noise. Not good at low speeds and traffic jams - very lumpy and poor throttle response.
-
Security and Service
Security
No problems at all.
Service
No probs, although if you mention '620 turbo', EVERYONE in the motor trade assumes you're talking abount the diesel. Has no-one heard of the Ti? No wonder we burn off anyone who tries!

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
Head gasket, oil leak. Not the quietest engine in the paddock.
Other
Good once turbo is spinning, but you can't beat a non-blown car for throttle response. Get a BMW 528.
