Rover 600 620 ti 4d (1998/R) Owner Review

Economy
Value
If you're buying - this is a lot of car for your money, not so good if your selling.
Costs
Yes it's thirsty, yes it eats front tyres, yes the servicing will set you back, but what do you expect for a 200bhp sports saloon!

On the road
Driving
Great for long trips, great in a straight line and fun when you go too deep into corners, but if you can't handle it - don't do it!
Performance
Ask the 2.5 litre Boxter owner who tried to show off to his missus! Wouldn't be suprised if he took it back!

Living with it
Reliability
Do it right - buy a warrenty. If turbo goes - that's two month's wages! Mine went in for oil leaks and a new backing pump - but I had a courtesy car and didn't spend a penny. Otherwise fine!
Image
This is a wolf in sheep's clothing - which I like. 16" wheels make it but the thieves leave it alone.
Comfort
Not the best seats when throwing it around but good on long journeys.

Security and Service
Security
Standard alarm and immobiliser, seems to do the job.
Service
You need to find a Rover main dealer used to Tis. Then you're fine. Mine have been excellent, hence the comments about reliability.
