Economy
Value
A lot of equipment for the money. Look more expensive then they really are.
Costs
Front tyres wear because you get addicted to putting your foot down and only last around 10,000 miles. Fuel expensive, but then it does have 200 bhp.

On the road
Driving
Steering wheel rubs knees and I'm only 6' 1". Have to have seat down and wheel up surprising far for a fairly large car. Pleasure to drive though, especially on the straight.
Performance
4 stars because for a car weighing over 1300kg, 0-60 in 7 secs is impressive. It pulls in every gear except 5th. Can easily lose your licence. As the saying goes, don't judge a book by its cover!

Living with it
Reliability
I've had trouble with mine and now hoping for some trouble-free motoring.
Image
Still looks a nice car, but get a lot of stick about the old sayings where's your pipe and slippers. But they can't deny the power it's got.
Comfort
Not as comfortable as you would think, again due to the driving position. Not much room in back. Suspension is firmer than other cars, but it is a sports saloon and I don't mind that.

Security and Service
Security
Mine has got alarm and immobiliser and I topped it up by getting a disclock to turn thieves away hopefully to another car that looks easier. No problems yet, touch wood.
Service
Rover dealers are dreadful. They are not interested in trying to fix your car. They don't even have the right manuals and equipment for these cars. I was told it is "an odd ball car". Don't trust them.
