Summary
What does this car say about you?
After years of over-loaded estates I wanted a change of image . I baulked at the idea of a sports car at my 73yrs. The Rover 75 caught my eye.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
My sister is old enough to be impressed My wife won't tell me My neighbours and I don't converse on that kind of topic.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would probably look for an estate 75. I miss being able to carry almost any kind of load.
What are you likely to buy next?
A Rover 75 estate.

Did you get a good deal and why?
I think so. No doubt the dealer wanted to move it on as sales were slow in the recession.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Looked brilliant under showroom lights!
What was the dealer like?
Lovely family firm in Ballyclare Co.Antrim. George Logan Ltd turned out to be a father & son firm and both were gentlemen to deal with.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Quiet with plenty of torque Corners really well.
What's it like to park?
Low-slung saloon reduces visibility Steering is light and responsive.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The clutch went after about 10 months which was expensive to replace. Diesel 'smoking' has given a problem recently (March 2013) with reduced Mpg.
What's most practical about your car?
First-time start Quiet BMW diesel engine Paintwork still excellent Comfortable Good gear-change.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Cruise control.
