Fuel economy
A more stringent standard for fuel economy (WLTP) was introduced from September 2017, and this model was not required to undergo that test.
Its fuel economy measured under the previous test system was 24 - 48 mpg. However these figures are less likely to be achievable in real world driving and so should never be compared to another car's mpg which was measured under the newer, more realistic WLTP system.

Offers acceptable levels of fuel economy but pick the TD over the V8 for best results. It doesn’t match the re-sale values of German rivals although parts and servicing costs compare very well.
75 performs fairly badly on the eco front. With an average of 206 g/km CO2 across the model line-up, its emissions are a touch high for an executive saloon. The range is not particularly economical, averaging 35 mpg.
The 1.8 K-Series engine is prone to gasket failure although as long as this holds out, most owners report very good reliability.
