Summary
What does this car say about you?
Sad, middle aged convert from boy racer to armchair driver. Seriously, I got enough prizes for speeding when younger, and now go for comfort as my job requires driving long distances.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Some love it, some dont. You have to own a Rover 75 to appreciate how good a car it really is. I dont know anyone who has had one who didnt love it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would, but sadly whenI come to change it, good low mileage models wont be easily available, so I will probably have to look elsewhere.
What are you likely to buy next?
Probably a Mercedes C180

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£10,750
When did you buy the car?
May 2008
Did you get a good deal and why?
I think so. I got a high spec car that retailed new at £28k FOR £10.7k with all the toys, and with only 23k miles on a 55 plate.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Having driven an 03 1.8T Club SE for the last 3 years, I wanted another car with the same level of comfort, but better economy.
What was the dealer like?
Very good especially as this particular branch specialise in MG Rover.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It glides over the motorway. Extremely comfortable.I had a 1.8T for 3 years and this kept me with Rover. The diesel is more sluggish, but is much more economical, so the trade off is worth it.
What's it like to park?
Easier than the previous one, because I have parking sensors at the back. But it is still a big car, so find a big space.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Not yet, only had it 6 weeks but covered 4000 miles in this time.
What's most practical about your car?
The big boot and the folding mirrors.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The electronic blind in the rear window. Great gimmick. Does anyone know why its there?
