Summary
What does this car say about you?
Hopefully, that I don't follow the crowd, like a bit of comfort and elegance. Some will think 'old man driver' but they are wrong and open their eyes.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Again a few old man jokes, they soon shut up when the learn I have a 2 yr old gadget laden luxury tourer with 6,000 miles on the clock, for £8.5k
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, just wish i was rich enough to get the 2.0 BMW diesel engine.
What are you likely to buy next?
Give me time

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchise
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£8,500
When did you buy the car?
June 2007
Did you get a good deal and why?
Got £500 of list price, 1yrs warranty thrown in, 6 months tax and a loan at the same rate as my bank. Also got the mats and flaps bit too.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
The car had a ridiculous low mileage of 6,000 miles, coupled with the best interior of any car less than a top line Jaguar. Previously owned by an 'old boy' and was like new. All for £8.5k? Bargain!!
What was the dealer like?
It was an MG/Rover dealer when they were still going, they supplied the car originally and the salesman was great.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It's only the 1.8 normally aspriated, so it's not a rocket ship. It's a smooth crusier, it soaks up the bumps and makes the daily grind more bearable
What's it like to park?
Rear Parking Sensors fitted so its a doddle. It is a big vehicle, but can be driven with confidence.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Only had it 500 miles, everything works like new. You can tell the germans had a had in this one.
What's most practical about your car?
The tourer bodyshape is great for my dogs, but its not a box like estate. Looks sleek and elegant.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Love the big leather seats, classy dash and the climate control goes from Baltic to Sahara in seconds.
