Yes, I'd buy another, but we don't really intend to sell this one, as it will become a classic car within the next 10 years or so.
What are you likely to buy next?

No

December 2008
Did you get a good deal and why?
We did get a good deal, the car was only 2 years old when we bought it and was a finance repossession which made it cheaper than what these cars were going for at the time, the car had next to no defects.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
We'd had one before and found it to be a classy looking car with good driving dynamics.
What was the dealer like?
Alright, a bit surly and indifferent.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
I think it's quite a good car to drive, but it requires some skill to drive it smoothly and quickly at the same time, as the gearchange and clutch do feel somewhat commercial, it handles extremely well provided you use quality tyres, cheap chinese tyres destroy this cars handling abilities which are remarkably good for such a big and heavy car, it has a excellent turn of speed in gear thanks to the big wallop of torque at exactly the right point in the rev range, but it can sometimes suffer from a little turbo lag.
What's it like to park?
I find it a very easy car to park, as long as you just use your mirrors!

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Bearing in mind we've now had this car for 5 years, very little, the most recent was the alternator which failed in August 2013, and cost £155 to replace, fitted it ourselves. The Airbag light goes on and off when it feels like it but that is down to a bad multiplug under the seats, other than that nothing really major or bad has gone wrong (touch wood!) and we've put 25,000 miles on it, the same again as when we bought it.
What's most practical about your car?
The load space is very good considering it's beautiful shape, but it's not as square inside as some estate cars which is actually the best shape!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The bluetooth car radio we fitted which can stream, plug into usb or a phone jack as well as a very good telephone car kit!
