Economy
Value
Excellent value for the spec when you don't pay rrp. I got this car for £18k which included the SE option pack and met paint.
Costs
Not had any real trouble, but aware that costs can be higher than most manufacturers of the same standard.

On the road
Driving
Really comfortable and well appointed car and is effortless to drive for miles and miles - quiet as well.
Performance
131ps Diesel engine pulls well and gathers a fair pace quickly. Expect at least 43mpg average and upto 50+ mpg on a run.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Starts every time - only had on problem with windscreen wiper sensor - dealer fixed within 10 mins by resetting the system.
Image
This is very subjective, especially with the demise of MG Rover. The Con SE spec car though with standard star alloys, reduced chrome and in pearl black looks imposing and attractive.
Comfort
Leather upholstery, heated seats which are supportive, quiet cabin, high spec harmon cardon stereo - can't fault the car.
-
Security and Service
Security
Alarm and immobiliser, which is uprated with SE option pack - not had any problems.
Service
Would buy the car again if MG Rover were around. Service from those dealers that are still in existence is very good and supportive. No problems with getting parts for my car - but here other variants, especially V8's, can be impossible and costly.
