Rover 800 Fastback 820i 5d (ABS) (1995/N) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Dirt cheap to buy.
Costs
All general items like tyres are cheap, but can get expensive if something major is needed. These costs are balanced by incredibly cheap cost to buy.

On the road
Driving
So comfortable - you can drive for hours and get out without the slightest back ache etc.
Performance
Surprisingly good for such a big car, provided you don't want sports car performance.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Electric windows and remote alarm always seem to be a problem but ALWAYS starts first time.
Image
Hatch with rear spoiler and alloys looks classy in my view and although they have a duff image, people don't believe you pay so little to buy.
Comfort
Tons of room for whole family, or put the seats down and there's enough room for a Granny annex.

Security and Service

Remote alarm and steering lock don't work on mine!
