Economy
Value
Keep it clean and polished, and it will still look expensive and impressive!
Costs
Thirsty, but still acceptable by modern standards.
-
On the road
Driving
Mostly quite enjoyable, but body-roll can be quite shocking.
Performance
Boy racers put me to shame around town, but I would thrash them on the motorway!
-
Living with it
Reliability
I have never been let down by the Honda engine. Not as robust as a German or Swedish engine so keeping service schedule is vital.
Image
Nigel Lawson's hand-me-down. Being bottom spec, it is more impressive outside than in!
Comfort
Roomy enough. Long journeys are a breeze - I get out feeling fresh not tired!
-
Security and Service
Security
No-one has ever tried to steal it - is that a good thing?!
Service
CD Bramhall looked at me like I was an alien when I asked if I could buy a Rover keyring.

If you don't want trouble from the electric windows, don't wind them down if they're wet.
