Economy
Value
Massive initial depreciation means used value can't be beaten
Costs
Average 31.5mpg mixed motoring. Insurance group 17, but OK with ncd and 30+. Tyres big but wear rate fair unless driven hard. Service parts reasonably priced.

On the road
Driving
Great fun. Fast Cross-country progress even four up. Secure at all speeds, good tyres essential.
Performance
30-70 in 6.8. Overtaking is this cars forte. A wolf in sheeps clothing. Sees off many other so called sporting models. Roadsport brake pads a must.

Living with it
Reliability
Gearbox rebuild at 104,000 miles and HT leads replaced with higher quality roadsport units, otherwise perfect. Need to keep inside of throttle body clean to maintain economy.
Image
Who gives a stuff! Goes like hell, reasonable costs and plenty of room for family. Superb all round transport, vastly under-rated by the prejudiced or ill-informed.
Comfort
I like the firm ride, but may be too hard for some. Children's mess easy to clean off half leather trim.

Security and Service
Security
Superlocking and rolling code remote (from '95) complete an excellent package.
Service
Not with this car. Previously found dealer competance and helpfulness to be extremely variable dealer to dealer.
