  • Economy

    Value

    3 out of 5 3.0

Did not pay full price if I had I would say 1. Service every 6000 miles will cost you. Rover garages can charge any price they like because there at not many left.

    Costs

    1 out of 5 1.0

As above eats fuel but does not shift fast enough for 1.4litres. Front wheels are fast to wear out.

  • On the road

    Driving

    2 out of 5 2.0

Motorway noise unacceptable, suspension too stiff, steering wheel massive, stupid dash layout and terrible vibrations at high speed.

    Performance

    2 out of 5 2.0

    As above, like a scooter.

  • Living with it

    Reliability

    2 out of 5 2.0

Sometimes would not start. Many dash warning lights come and go as they please.

There are worse cars to look at but Rover is not cool.

    Comfort

    2 out of 5 2.0

You have to take your eyes of the road for a while to make sure it is not a lottery as to if you press front or rear fogs and read window heater or wiper. The window buttons are nearly unreachable.

  • Security and Service

    Security

    2 out of 5 2.0

The locks bust within a few weeks of brand new. For some reason you cannot lock the car within 30 seconds of removing the key from ignition.

    Service

    1 out of 5 1.0

    Terrible, could not care attitude.

  • Problems and Ownership
