Rover Metro (1990 - 1995) 1.1 L 5d Owner Review

I don't own it any more but a lot of fanfare accompanied its arrival and the ownership was an anti climax. You can still hear them rave about the solid build quality and smooth engine, neither of which bore any resemblance to the vehicle in reality, as I soon witnessed. I wonder who was funding the motoring magazines of the time. Perhaps their efforts were to good effect, as it was a strong seller. I just wonder how many regretted their decision to purchase it. It had done about 7000 miles when I sold it on. I have no idea how many miles it has done now.
