Rover Metro 1.1 Rio 3d (1993/K) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Too expensive for what it is really.
Costs
Generally cheap to run, but repairs can be expensive.
-
On the road
Driving
Definitely not a driver's car. Drive it hard and it only takes a minute for the brakes to be smoking. Suspension poor and too soft.
Performance
Gets eaten alive by almost anything. Will get to near 100 though if you have nerves of steel!
-
Living with it
Reliability
Never had any trouble in almost a year, except overheating through hole in radiator.
Image
Granny / learner image. Not gonna turn heads.
Comfort
Not too bad, although very cramped in back. Lack of room to rest clutch foot.
