Rover Metro 1.1 Rio Grande 3d (1994/M) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
One of the cheapest used cars you can buy even if its a good one.
Costs
Very economical. Spares are plentiful & cheap. Low insurance rating.

On the road
Driving
Good fun for a 10 year old car. Loads of grip from tiny wheels.
Performance
Slow! No matter how hard you try it wont go very fast at all.
-
Living with it
Reliability
K series engine is practically bullet-proof. Look after it & it won't go seriously wrong.
Image
None. Its a Rover. AND its a Metro.
Comfort
Not bad for an old design. Must be the gas-sphere suspension. Bright airy interior means its a nice enough place to sit in traffic.

Security and Service
Security
It has a remote alarm and central locking that toots the horn. More novelty than security really.
Service
No comment. Not using main dealer for this car.
