-
Economy
Value
Was cheap to buy, but has cost me a bit since....
Costs
...Some big bills, such as new valves when the cam-belt went (whoops!).
-
On the road
Driving
Handling good and communative in dry (ease off oversteer and the like), not so good in the wet.
Performance
Good revvy engine, if a little noisy.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Have had to replace some basic parts (more bills).
Image
It is a Metro after all.
Comfort
Front seats are great, back seats are BAD, and the ride is bumpy and noisy.
-
Security and Service
Security
Easy to break into (not that any self-respecting car thief would lower themself to take one).
Service
Not that I use the Rover dealers.
