Economy
Value
Think I paid over the odds from a dealer but fell in love with her and had to have her!
Costs
Just paid £240 to replace front wheel bearings at small local garage. Keep away from Rover, they charged me £60 just to clean and un-jam boot lock! Trying to get hold of fuel float at the moment; Rover quoting £70 plus vat.

On the road
Driving
Loves roundabouts, corners and country lanes! Not too keen on motorways doing above 75!
Performance
Always 1st away at the lights! Never underestimate a Mini!
-
Living with it
Reliability
Only let me down once in 3 years, over heated fan failed to kick in when stuck in traffic, rectified at local garage for £20!
Image
Real head turner and conversation piece in car parks and petrol stations. Children love her and point, old people often comment that the Mini was either their 1st car or they learnt to drive in one. Try and do the London to Brighton Mini run; great day!
Comfort
Don't buy a Mini if you suffer from piles; you feel every bump in the road! Surprise people each week at Sainsbury with the amount of shopping I can get in!
