Economy
Value
Bought for £1000 - rustless and at 32,000 miles.
Costs
Most parts reasonably cheap.
-
On the road
Driving
Superb - especially with nice big 13" wheels. Nothing can beat it on a twisty country road.
Performance
Not as bad as you'd think - pulls away from the lights well if revs are kept up.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Ignition-starter motor relay failed once.
Image
THE car to be seen in - turns heads wherever you go. Such a great feeling to be driving along and flashing your lights at another Mini.
Comfort
Bouncy, but really doesn't bother me. Cruises surprisingly well on long motorway journeys at 75/80mph.

Security and Service
Security
Steering lock and a door key the size of a locker key. Hmm...
