Rover Streetwise (2003 - 2005) 2.0TD SE (101ps) 5d (03) Owner Review

I have had this car for nearly six years and can say it is on of the best cars I have ever owned.. I have had the usual trouble with the rear loom but a new one, easily fitted, cured the problem .. the only other problems I have had is the fuel tank rusting but that was replaced . I have been round the continent on a skiing trip (2600) without any problems and went to Italy twice in it last year.. the seats are really comfortable and I have done 9 hour stints ...I have had it tuned up ( dark ice designs box) and it really goes well ..the performance had deteriorated due to a MAF declining with age and it goes better now than when I bought it 6 years ago..it will quite happily cruise at 80 and do about 50 mpg on a run ..41 round town not bad for a 13 year old car..I wish they still made them ..
