Rover have tried hard to make it look funky and modern and may have succeeded depending on your definition of funky and modern. Driver’s seat is comfy for a couple of hours at a time. The interior is updated from the 25, but there’s a serendipity about the placing of some of the controls.
Bit cramped for legroom in the back and the seats aren’t as plush as many in this class. There’s a choice of having three or four seats in the back. Young couples are better off with two (the third one is quite small), but young families should plump for three. Front passengers get more room, but the seat isn’t particularly any more comfortable.
