Saab 9-3 Convertible 2.0i S 2d (1999/T) Owner Review
-
Economy
Value
Depreciation was a little higher than expected. Relatively expensive new, too.
Costs
Main dealer charges £250 for a standard service, which doesn't seem to involve that much. Find a non-franchise specialist that pays more attention to detail.

Driving
Not suited for hard driving, but nice and relaxed.
Performance
Suitable for the car.

Living with it
Reliability
Mechanically fine - heater control knobs and shaft behind direction knob fail regularly. More annoying due to bad design than expensive.
Image
Looks the part.
Comfort
Only complaint, being tall, is that it could do with a bit more room for my left knee!

Security and Service
Service
Very expensive charges when it is obvious that corners are cut. £250 for annual service and they didn't even remove the rear wheels.
