Saab 9-3 Convertible 1.8t Vector 2d (2004/04) Owner Review

Economy
Value
A good quality Premium Convertible and a wise-man's alternative to a BMW Convertible.
Costs
For this type of car, very very reasonable servicing and tyre replacement costs. Just a shade over £200 for a main dealer 18,000 service. Car still under warranty so no major repair costs will be incurred.

Driving
Precise, sharp handling. Enjoyable to drive!
Performance
1.8t performance is brisk, but nothing exciting. MPG returns average about 32 MPG overall.

Living with it
Reliability
No problems whatsoever.
Image
A pleasure to own and drive - Roll on summer! A proper man's convertible with 4 proper seats!
Comfort
You'll find the Saab front seats hard to beat for comfort and safety protection.

Security and Service
Security
Thatcham rated Alarm fitted as Standard, but you're always wary about where you leave your car when out in town - the same as in any Convertible I guess?
Service
My Saab dealer (Lookers Chester) can't do enough for me.
