Summary
What does this car say about you?
Professional who enjoys good cars but doesn't want to make a statement.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They really like the car and are pleasantly surprised whenever they travel in it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes - very much. I really love this car - how it sounds, how it drives, how practical it is and how much fun it is with the roof down.
What are you likely to buy next?
As Saab are now out of business unfortunately, I might look at an Audi A5 convertible.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£10,000
When did you buy the car?
March 2014
Did you get a good deal and why?
Not especially but I was after that exact model (with memory seats and the Hirsch performance upgrade) and it was immaculate.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I wanted a fun four seater convertible which can carry four adults in comfort and have a decently sized boot.
What was the dealer like?
Perfect! Very friendly and helpful without any high pressure sales tactics. He was happy to let my girlfriend and I take the car out on an extended test drive and let us go out for lunch (to a wonderful restaurant he recommended) before making a decision. When we picked the car up it was ready on time and immaculate.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Lovely, really lovely. The Aero model comes with stiffer suspension but it's superbly set up. It handles exceptionally well and really grips the road but it is not uncomfortable. The steering is feel-some and meaty and the engine is punchy and responsive.
What's it like to park?
The parking sensors really help and make it quite easy to park - the rear three quarter view, however, isn't great with the roof up.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing out of the ordinary - just consumables like an exhaust flexi joint and brake discs and pads.
What's most practical about your car?
The fact that you can fit four adults in it in comfort and that, as the roof folds into the boot, it has a large and useful boot when the roof is up.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The heated full leather memory seats.
